In the golden times of Atlantis cats were considered most important
and were highly revered. The people recognised that they carry
qualities of enlightenment and that they are very psychic. Cats
watch what is happening on many levels, so domestic pets look
after their families, protecting them from unwanted spirits
and entities. If you have ever seen a cat staring intently at
something invisible to you or been aware of the animal’s
fur standing on end as it hisses at an unseen threat, you will
understand this. So every home had at least one cat and these
kept the space clear and helped to maintain the energy of the
household.
But the felines, all black at this time, did much more. Every
wise herbalist or natural healer had her own cat or familiar
who helped her with her potions or crystals. Each temple had
one which helped at healing ceremonies by protecting the space,
bringing in pure energy and ensuring the crystals were perfectly
aligned for maximum effect.
When Atlantis started to devolve, the Magi sent to Orion for
more cats to raise the frequency. They hoped in vain that it
would halt the decline.
Golden Atlantis was based on harmlessness and love between creatures,
so all animals, including cats, were vegetarian. They had a
different jaw structure from our modern moggies, who have evolved
into meat eaters. They did not use their claws to attack or
harm, just for climbing trees with which they had a great affinity.
All cats, including tigers and lions, originate from Orion,
the planet of wisdom. The big ones were not part of the Atlantis
experiment as their power was not needed because the frequency
of the people was so high. When one of the twelve tribes of
Atlantis moved to Egypt, the leaders needed more help than small
cats could provide. The Pharaohs needed lions to maintain their
power.
The task of household cats is to cleanse and guard the home
and its loved ones there. The mission of big ones is to watch
over and protect the planet. They help to maintain the frequency
of the world by holding a high degree of enlightenment. At the
same time, because they have incarnated for an earth experience
they still have animal instincts and are wild creatures. However,
they are not here to learn as most of us are but are teaching
qualities of dignity, courage, female power, independence and
enlightenment. We humans have no idea of the consequences for
the planet of decimating the big cat population, especially
tigers, without compassion or understanding.
I recently had a wonderful experience with a tiger in Thailand,
land of smiles and orange robed Buddhist monks, where peace
and harmony abide. Near the Western Forest Complex lies the
Wat Pa Luangata Bua monastery where the monks practice deep
meditation. They have also created a wildlife sanctuary where
injured animals brought to them are lovingly treated and allowed
to roam freely in the grounds then are returned to the wilds
when they are ready.
In 1999 an injured tiger cub was brought to the monastery and
the monks took care of him. However he died. Within the next
few weeks eight cubs who had been rescued from poachers who
had killed their mothers, were brought to the monks. The Abbott
welcomed them all and tended them with devotion. They all survived,
flourished and grew. This posed something of a problem so the
monks set to work to build them as natural a home as possible,
where they could not eat the other animals in the sanctuary!
Gradually the big cats learnt to trust humans and began to reproduce.
Indeed when we visited the monastery three fluffy four-week-old
cubs were tottering about playing with their handlers. The energy
of Golden Atlantis was being recreated.
The Abbot felt that people needed to meet the big cats for themselves
to see what love can do. They also needed money to house and
feed all the tigers. After meditation he bravely decided to
open the sanctuary to visitors. Although the tigers had been
regularly handled from infancy and so were desensitized to being
touched by humans, they are wild animals. We were carefully
and repeatedly warned about those things that could single us
out as prey rather than part of a herd of humans – wear
dull colours, no red or pink. Do not squeal or talk loudly.
Definitely do not move fast or detach from the group. No dark
glasses in case a tiger sees its reflection and attacks its
rival. Do not walk in front of a tiger.
The helpers sprayed the tigers with water to cool them down.
Then we walked down to the arid, baking hot canyon. I strode
along beside the biggest, oldest tiger, a huge, handsome male,
my hand firmly on his back, feeling the powerful, silky movement
of his muscles. My nostrils were filled with the odour of dry
dust and wet animal fur.
Seven of the tigers came with us into the canyon where they
slumped onto the hot ground and were soon fast asleep.
I was led to the big tiger and sat on the ground beside him.
He lay his great head on my lap and, as I cradled him I telepathically
thanked him and all tigers everywhere for their service in looking
after our planet. He clearly received the message for suddenly
he raised his head and looked round, as if seeking the source
of the communication. The Abbot was by me in a flash, pulling
him off me and settling him down again! My guide Kumeka later
said that he certainly did receive the message and it gave him
hope. I hope you will send love, peace and gratitude to the
tigers.
