Many of my clients and I am sure many
of you who read this column regularly may be in the process
of reconsidering a relationship. Some of you may have long-term
friendships end for no reason. Others have separated or divorced
in the past year or two. For some, relationships are drastically
changing and you’re not sure what is happening or why.
People are growing apart more than ever and headed in different
directions. My purpose in this column is to let you know that
this is not a bad thing. Your relationships are taking a natural
course.
We are in a period and have been for quite some time that causes
a “shift” in all human beings. Some of us are growing
spiritually to a higher level. Others are not growing as fast.
Still others are stuck in the same dimension, so to speak. As
our soul/spirit advances, we sometimes outgrow people. You may
be operating at a higher frequency than your friend or romantic
partner and therefore your “connection” to that
person is changing drastically.
You may find the energy has shifted, You no longer have much
in common. There are more misunderstandings and feelings change.
How many of you can say that you are not the same person you
were three years ago? Maybe even a year ago?
In some cases, there will be arguments or hurt feelings because
your energies are now different and not compatible any longer.
In other instances, you may just drift apart.
I am seeing this change more and more in marriages lately. I
believe it has something to do with the Mayan calendar which
calls of an ending of the world as we know it in 2012. I personally
do not believe the world will stop existing in 2012. I believe
the world, as we know it, will not exist any more. We are shifting
to a higher level of consciousness. Those who are growing and
working off their spiritual side will be part of this new world
in 2012 and thereafter. Those who do not grow, may choose to
exit the earth plane before or during this new period. I feel
we will see many people making transitions to the afterlife
in the next several years.
Those who are enlightened and are moving into a new spiritual
awareness/consciousness will continue to remain on the earth
plane to work, love, share, grow and serve. I believe this will
be a soul choice. Everyone will have a choice. But getting back
to relationships...
We're in a different world now and many of the relationships
we may have had for years are no longer viable in their present
form. Your needs are changing perhaps like never before. If
you are not on the same wave length as someone, you may not
attract them or be attracted to them any longer. Like attracts
like. Your soul attracts what you need. That's why we will be
going through a very exciting time in the next few years, meeting
all sorts of new people with new knowledge to share. That’s
why it may be necessary to leave relationships that no longer
serve a purpose in our lives. I hope that doesn't sound harsh
as you read this. But there’s also a thing called karma.
When your karma is finished with someone, that relationship
may also be altered or end. But you should never feel bad about
these endings. Look at those former relationships as gifts in
your life and be thankful for the time you did share and the
lessons you learned and the karma you created and paid.
So if you are wondering why some relationships have ended or
are in the process of ending, think about the spiritual essence
of these individual relationships. Again, we are all operating
at many levels and degrees of consciousness. Some of us are
in "grade school,” others in "high school”
and some doing their "masters work." It’s okay
to let go, honor the relationship and thank God for it. But
don't dwell on it. Let it go as you soar into your new dimensions
of spiritual consciousness and be ready to meet new and exiting
souls that universe is eager to introduce to you!
